The Pumpkin is Dead

If you scroll down a few blogs you will read about the Eternal Pumpkin. Contrary to popular belief there is not a "made in China" stamp on the bottom of it. That picture was taken on Easter weekend. Well, over the last few weeks the pumpkin's health has taken a grave turn, and I believe it is terminal.

I would post a picture but it is a sad sight and I want you to remember the pumpkin as it was.

I think that this trash day will bring an end to our dear friend. It has been a fun time, but all good things must come to an end. I guess seven months is a good run for any pumpkin. But alas, I must bid a fond farewell.

We will now have to wait until October to adopt its replacement. The Pumpkin is dead, long live the pumpkin!

Has anyone considered that that was the "Great Pumpkin" that Charlie Brown and friends were always waiting for? And you let him die. Travesty.
